Objective

Upon completing the course:
- The student can perform the sizing of electrical cables and panels in industrial applications.
- The student is familiar with industrial electrical components and electrical distribution systems.
- The student can understand the theory of motors and is knowledgeable about different types of frequency converters.
- The student is acquainted with the basics of electrical drives and motion control.
- The student will be able to size electrical drives components.
- The student can take into account both economic and technical requirements when sizing. Upon completing the course, the student can use and commission frequency converters and can verify, input, and adjust the parameters required for operation on the frequency converter.

Content

1. Sizing of electrical cables and panels in industrial applications
2. Technical basics of a Asynchronous motor
3. Frequency-controlled Asynchronous motor operation
4. Different control methods for Asynchronous motor operation
5. Sizing and selection of motors and frequency converters for electrical drives
