Objective
Upon completion of the course, the student
• is able to explain the basic properties and manufacturing methods of nano materials and advanced materials, analyse applications of nanotechnology in materials engineering, and apply testing and characterisation methods for nano materials
• is able to assess the safety and environmental impact of nano materials, and develop sustainable materials solutions by exploiting the potential of nanotechnology.
