Objective

The student:
- understands the factors related to occupational therapy groups and the planning process
- can apply knowledge derived from the group and the theoretical foundation of occupational therapy in planning and implementing an occupational therapy group intervention
- recognises the roles and influence of the occupational therapist on the group
- can justify the use of an occupational therapy group and identify its potential as a method to enable occupation and participation.

The framework and its role in the group's activities?

Qualifications

Before taking this course, the student must have successfully completed the courses Adaptation of Occupation in Occupational Therapy and Interaction and Guidance in the Occupational Therapy Relationship.
