Objective

Student
- understands the potential of digitalisation in the entire health care and social services sector and especially in oral hygiene, and the role of the oral hygienist in patient care
- gets to know the forms of digital services in the social and health sector and identifies related opportunities and challenges
- becomes aware of the principles of ethics and accessibility in digital services
- gets a picture of the varied job description of an oral hygienist and opportunities in working life
- is able to document their patient's treatment and specific characteristics in a patient seminar
- organises, carries out and develops independent health care in a variety of oral hygiene operating environments

Ethics and accessibility in digital services
The importance of data protection and security in digital services
The oral hygienist as expert in a variety of working environments, and the career paths of an oral hygienist
Patient seminar
Work placement:
Oral hygiene work placement in specialised health care, in treatment center for disabled or mentally ill patients, working in a dental business or privacy clinic
