Objective

- know the key regulations concerning infection control and understand the importance of aseptic action in health care sector
- prevent microbe contamination in care environment and understand the importance of co-operation in infection control
- know the main contents of health care work safety
-comply work safety regulations and promote work safety by their own actions
- recognize emergency situation and are able to act systematically in such case
- examine the patient’s vital functions applying ABCDE-system and provide symptomatic first aid
- recognize the most common seizures and need of help
- are able to act in danger and emergency situations and start emergency resuscitation
- adopt ergonomic ways of working into their professional activities

Basic concepts of medical therapy and different modes of drug administration
Ensuring painlessness and pain management
Fluid balance and ensuring it.
