Student
Will be able to explain the structure, basic functions and means of optimising the radiation exposure of staff and patients
Is able to operate in a radiation-safe fluoroscopy environment
Knows the professional responsibility and duties of radiographers when working in a multidisciplinary team and understands the importance of teamwork
Knows the principles of patient guidance in radiological procedures and is able to plan a patient guidance event
Knows the basics of planning, implementing and evaluating the most common fluoroscopy-guided examinations and procedures
Knows the contrast media used in fluoroscopy examinations and their safe use.
Knows the importance of the patient's preparations, monitoring during the examination and aftercare as part of the radiological procedure
Knows aseptic work in radiological procedures
Knows the purpose of the basic tools for vascular procedures and is able to prepare them for use
Understands the anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system and is able to apply ones knowledge.
Is able to implement safe pharmacotherapy in radiological procedures
Is able to take an ECG and knows the basics of its interpretation
Is able to act and take responsibility in first aid and resuscitation situations
understands the importance of utilizing artificial intelligence applications in radiological procedures and diagnostics

Safe usage of medical radiation 5 ECTS, Patient care and pharmacological treatment in clinical radiography 10 ECTS, Ultrasound and Mammography Examinations 5 ECTS
