Objective

Student
is able to work responsibly as a member of the work community
will be able to plan a native X-ray examination of thorax and bones based on a referral
is able to perform thorax and most common native skeletal X-ray examinations
knows the evaluation criteria of native X-ray examinations and is able to apply their knowledge
is able to guide patients in imaging situations individually
will be able to explain the significance of parameters affecting image quality to image quality and will be able to apply this knowledge in their activities
will be able to explain the significance of dose-optimisation parameters and apply this knowledge in their activities
takes into account factors related to image quality and radiation exposure in native X-ray examinations
understands the general principles of radiation protection in native X-ray examinations to ensures the safety of radiation workers and patients
understands the importance of patient safety in their operations and applies their understanding when assessing their own operations
knows the safety practices of the clinical practice unit and knows how to
will be able to work with data protection and data security in mind and will be able to apply their knowledge when using patient information systems
will be able to follow the usual precautions of hand hygiene and asepsis and justify their actions with theoretical knowledge of asepsis and hygiene
