Objective
The student
• is able to describe the research and development process and the data acquisition, research and development methods used in it
• is able to follow the ethical principles of research and development, taking data protection and information security into account
• can work as a responsible creator of knowledge in compliance with the principles of responsible conduct of research.

• Basics of qualitative and quantitative data acquisition and analysis methods
• Literature review
• Basics of development work
• Ethical principles of research and development and responsible conduct of research
• Basics of information security and data protection in a thesis
