Objective

The student knows how to explain the location and features of tissues. Students are able to use the basic concepts of structure and function related to the musculoskeletal system. The student is able to describe the structure of limb joints and muscles, as well as the connections between functioning. The student gains further skills in recognising musculoskeletal structures.

Tissues
Basic anatomy concepts
Detailed structure of limbs’ bones and joints
Muscles of the upper torso and shoulder area as well as the lower limbs
Recognising musculoskeletal structures by palpation

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
