Internship 5. Development and ManagementLaajuus (15 cr)

Objective

The student will be able to
- work independently in operating environments pertinent to the competences of a Bachelor of Social Services and Health Care in accordance with the competence objectives
- identify the development needs of work with older people and find solutions to improve services and practices in older people care
- act as a member of a multidisciplinary working community and team, representing their field of expertise
- apply the principles of self-management in their work
- identify the skills and competences required to lead a working community
- identify and describe their professional growth.

Qualifications

Completion of Internship 4. Client and Service Management (8 ECTS) is required before starting Internship 5. Development and Management (15 ECTS).

The course Leadership as Part of the Professional Role of a Bachelor of Social Services and Health Care (5 ECTS) must be taken in parallel with the 5. internship or completed prior to the start of the 5. internship.
