Internship 4. Client and Service ManagementLaajuus (8 cr)

Objective

The student will be able to
- apply a dialogical approach to their work, strengthening the resources of older people and their networks
- work in older clients’ guidance processes in cooperation with different actors
- assess the service and support needs of an older client in a holistic way
- advise and guide the client to use the services
- recognise the importance of multiprofessional cooperation and networking
- identify and describe their professional growth.

Qualifications

Completion of Internship 3. Supporting Older People Living at Home (8 ECTS) is required before starting Internship 4. Client and Service Management (8 ECTS).

The student must have submitted the learning assignments of the course Counselling of Older People (4 ECTS) before starting this internship.
