Objective

The student will be able to
• recognise the importance of home and the home environment for older people
• assess the needs of older people living at home
• utilise various methods to support an older person's ability to live at home
• define multidisciplinary networks in supporting people living at home
• collaborate with relatives and loved ones
• identify and describe their professional growth.

Qualifications

Completion of Internship 2. Meeting Memory Care Clients (6 ECTS) is required before starting Internship 3. Supporting Older People Living at Home (8 ECTS).

The student must have submitted the learning assignments of the course Older People in the Home Environment (5 ECTS) before starting this internship.
