Objective
The student will be able to
- describe the foundations of gerontological assessment and nursing
- explain the significance of a person-centred and holistic approach in supporting older people's daily life and quality of life
- support an older person in daily activities in a resource-oriented way, using gerontological care and nursing methods
- apply the principles of ergonomics and kinesthetics in their work
- justify their actions based on gerontological knowledge.

- Evidence-based gerontological care
- Methods of assistance, interaction and encountering in gerontological care
- Basics of kinesthetics and ergonomics
- Basics of oral care for older people
- Nutrition and its assessment in memory care (MNA)
