Objective
The student
• is able to find out about the requirements of their job in supporting and promoting the work ability and functional capacity of working-age adults
• understands the functioning of the occupational health network and the regulations governing occupational health care
• can evaluate the key factors and work load affecting work ability using their knowledge of occupational physiotherapy and ergonomics
• is able, when evaluating workloads, to choose the key methods and metrics needed for individuals, for the requirements of their work and their work environment
• can utilise their prior learning and deepen their competence in the functioning of the musculoskeletal system and in physiotherapy methods
• is able to choose the appropriate examination and therapy methods in supporting the functioning of the musculoskeletal system
• can provide guidance for self-care that supports the client’s aims and to evaluate the effectiveness of the chosen physiotherapy methods
• is able to cooperate with working life partners, utilising multidisciplinary expertise in physiotherapy.
