The student
• can describe the changes that take place in the body with age, and their connection with functional ability
• is able, based on the assessment of the life situation and the living environment of the elderly, to assess the functional capacity and to plan sustainable solutions to promote it in multiprofessional cooperation with the client
• can describe the opportunities of digital solutions in the guidance and in the support of functional ability.

• Most important geriatric diseases and their treatment
• Special features of the assessment concerning the functional ability of the elderly and prevention of falls
• Activity support, therapeutic exercise and guidance for older people
• Everyday rehabilitation and memory disorders
• Digital solutions in rehabilitation and remote rehabilitation
