Objective

The student knows the basics of piping design. The student knows how to design water distribution networks as well as sewage collection and storm water drain networks. The student is able to plan and supervise pipeline maintenance and maintenance works.

-Basics of piping design
-Structure of the municipal water network, sewage network and rainwater system
-Service and maintenance

Qualifications

The student understands the basics of CAD. The student understands the needs of water management development.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able define or describe the subject matter related to the concepts and phenomena qualitatively and calculate the associated basic quantitative comparisons and calculations.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to apply, calculate, change and choose the concepts related to the matter and phenomena qualitatively and calculate the basic quantitative calculations as well as to complete and produce the necessary information for the calculations.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students is able to categorise, collect, combine and generalise the concepts related to the matter and phenomena qualitatively and calculate the basic quantitative calculations as well as derive and rearrange given basic information.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student is able define or describe the subject matter related to the concepts and phenomena qualitatively and calculate the associated basic quantitative comparisons and calculations.
