Objective

The student can calculate the properties of humid air and air conditioning processes, describe the structure and operating, adjustment and dimensioning principles of different air conditioning systems. The student knows how to choose a suitable air distribution method, dimension and choose room air conditioning equipment and choose air filtration according to the purpose. The student knows how to choose an air handling unit and draw a control and operation diagram of an air handling unit.

Content

Humid air and air conditioning processes. Constant and variable airflow systems. Air-water systems. Air distribution systems. Air conditioning beams and radiation panels and their dimensioning and selection. Air filtration and selection of filters. Dimensioning and selection of the air handling unit. Control and operation diagram of an air handling unit.
