Objective
The student manage the basic concepts and solutions of fire safety and smoke extraction in ventilation systems and can apply them in the workplace. The student understands HVAC technologies for large spaces, industrial facilities, and special-purpose areas, including the relevant fundamental concepts and calculations, and can apply this knowledge in professional settings.
Content
Fire safety in ventilation systems. Structural and mechanical smoke extraction. Ventilation solutions and technologies for industrial and large spaces. Local exhaust ventilation. Doorway airflows and their control. Heating solutions for standard factory halls. Heat recovery and exhaust air filtration in industrial facilities. Ventilation solutions for demanding special-purpose spaces.
