Objective
The student knows the labour market organisations and wage systems in the field. He/she understands collective agreements in the field of building services engineering from the most important aspects. He / she is able to apply the general conditions for building contracts on a general level. The student is familiar with consultant agreements and subcontractor agreements.
The student understands the importance of acquisitions to the financial outcome of contracting. The student knows the steps of the acquisition process and is able to prepare the documents. Student is able to evaluate the impact of acquisitions and scheduling changes on the construction site. The student will be familiar with the computer-based EDI tools.
