Objective
After having completed the course the student knows the basic registers of public administration and the different means of land policy. The student understands the use of basic registers and the process, where undeveloped land is transformed into buildable parcels. The student can apply the means of land policy in the different phases of the parcel production process and analyze the real estate development. The student can evaluate the impacts of parcel production on municipal economy and development, real estate business, and building production. The student can create a land policy program.
Content
The registers of public administration and real estate management, municipal land policy, real estates as a potential for a public corporation and a private company, coordination of parcel production and land use seen from the viewpoint of municipal economy, parcel production process from the acquisition of underdeveloped land to the delivery of parcels from the viewpoint of the municipality and the developer, contracts of zoning, plot division and subdivision of parcels
