Objective

After completing the course, the student is familiar with the principles of land use and transport system interaction for different modes of transport, is familiar with the main principles of the environmental impact of transport and is familiar with the key legislation in the field. He is proficient in key terms and the field of administration. After completing the course, the student will be able to assess the environmental impact of the road project on a general level. He is able to dimension the need for parking spaces at different plan levels and master the principles of parking placement.

Content

Transport planning in the context of land use planning. Traffic planning for town planning, sub-general planning and regional planning. Transport system design. Road safety. Public transport. The environmental impact of transport projects. Parking sizing and placement. Block-level planning. Street sizing
