Objective
The student knows what enzymes are, knows their classification and principles of action, and understands the factors that affect enzyme activity. Student can solve values of enzyme activity using the most common mathematical models.
The student knows the principles of enzyme modifications and knows how to produce them. The student is familiar with the applications of enzymes in the most common existing industrial and analytical fields. The student is able to apply the enzyme knowledge in practice.
The student will get acquainted with the usage, action and production of industrial enzymes, as well as the largest enzyme manufacturers.

1. Enzymes, principles of action, classification, reaction kinetics, enzyme activity, effects of inhibitors and activators, mathematical modelling
2. The use of enzymes in analytics
3. Enzyme modification
4. Industrial enzymes and processes. Immobilized enzymes and carriers.
5. The production and applications of major industrial in the different field of industries.
