Objective
After completing the course, the students are able to:
• understand the anthropometric dimensions of men's body and sizing charts as a basis for size systems and body types in men's clothing.
• detect men's body measurements and interpret tabulated measurements of different sizes.
• use body dimension charts for grading.
• digitally design and grade men's clothing.
• understand men's body sizing charts and graded patterns as a basis for garment measurement tables.
• use graded patterns and body sizing charts when making garment sizing and measurement tables.
• perceive garment sizing as part of product instructions.
Content
Anthropometric sizing charts for men. Computer-aided industrial design and production of men's casual clothing. Graded measurement tables for men's clothing based on graded patterns, samples and body sizing chart.
