Objective

The student
• is able to work as a musician and/or singer as part of a music production team in a performance environment
• can take responsibility as a member of a group, being able to independently prepare their own production part, e.g. the necessary audio tracks and sheet music, and being able to manage the necessary equipment
• is able to use key applications of music technology for performing, studying, practising and teaching music
• develops their interpersonal skills and the ability to reflect on their own and others' work and to express themselves orally and in writing
• is able to produce and interpret musical notation.

Content

During the course, students will learn how to use music notation and sequencing software and other tools of the modern performance environment. The student will learn how to use modern monitoring in a performance situation. The course ends with a concert in which techniques of the modern performance environment will be used.

Qualifications

Students must be able to work independently in different kinds of rhythm music performances and work situations. They must know the background and performance practices of the repertoire to be performed, and be able to use the technique and means of expression of their instrument at a basic professional level.

The student
• is able to work independently in the performance of the repertoire
• is able to work as part of a group, understanding their role in the ensemble and communicating their musical vision
• is able to use methods of expression that are characteristic of their instrument and typical of the chosen repertoire.
