Objective
The student
• is able to use their vocal instrument in speaking and singing in a versatile, nuanced, healthy and sustainable way
• is able to use their voice naturally, taking into account the requirements of the teaching situation and space, and is able to see the importance of their own voice as a model for the child's singing
• demonstrates a wide range of musicality and musical expression in all the instruments studied
• masters the different musical styles, their interpretation, playing and singing techniques and is able to compose and perform small musical compositions for different situations
• uses their skills creatively in their work as a teacher.
Content
The student will perform a 25-30 minute profile concert with all the necessary steps. The programme of the concert will be chosen according to the student's level of ability, but should include a variety of repertoire. A profile concert or part of a profile concert can be designed to address a specific target group, such as children, the elderly, etc. This can also be indicated in the concert programme booklet.
Qualifications
To participate in the courses, students must have completed an instrumental studies course or have equivalent knowledge and skills.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The assessment will focus on the strengths of the students' instrumental skills and is intended to support the students in achieving their learning objectives. Students will also learn to self-assess their own skills. The assessment will take place in an interactive feedback discussion.
