Objective

After completing the module, the student
• is able to identify the professional challenges of a musician in working life
• is able to assess their own development as a musician
• has gained a wide range of ideas for the development of artistic expression both as an individual and as part of a community
• is able to network in working life.

Content

The Clinics and Master Classes is a series of lectures in which several music professionals share their experience and knowledge with students. The courses provide insights into professional life experiences and how to prepare for them from the perspective of experienced professionals. The students will work through the instructions of the guest lecturers.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

To receive a passing grade for each unit of study, the student must
• be able to reflect on professional challenges in professional life
• be able to evaluate their own work as a musician
• have gained new ideas for the development of their own expression
• have gained a broad understanding of the possibilities of the musician in professional life, both as an individual and as a member of a group.
