• is able to plan and organise small group teaching purposefully and appropriately
• is familiar with the operational field of a music school and the employment opportunities it offers

Qualifications
The student is able to examine and develop group dynamics, interaction, and create a safe environment within the group setting. The student understands the significance of group processes and roles and can analyse their impact on the group’s work. The student recognises the effects of improvisation on learning and can take these into account in group guidance situations. The student understands the daily demands of a voice professional and knows the principles of vocal hygiene to support wellbeing.

• knows different methods of group teaching and is able to assess their suitability for teaching situations
• is able to plan and organise small group teaching in a goal-oriented way and can justify their decisions in accordance with the teaching objectives
• understands the key features of the operational field of music teaching and can evaluate the employment opportunities it offers
• knows the basic principles of job searching and can use them in planning their professional career.
