Objective

The student
• is able to create meaningful learning environments and processes that support learning, considering the needs of different learners/participants
• can implement comprehensive and experiential music teaching and creative activities that support the learning and overall well-being of people of different ages
• is capable of using the theoretical knowledge they have acquired related to learning, teaching, and overall well-being and applying it in music education practices
• can apply their artistic and pedagogical skills in multidisciplinary and multi-professional interactions in environments where art is applied, also developing new practices and enabling experiences outside the traditional teaching field
• is capable of multidisciplinary work and action in new situations and can act flexibly and appropriately in interaction situations, and in a participant-oriented manner in different phases of the project group process
• can reflect on their professional activities and develop them in professional interaction and networks.

Content

• The holistic human conception influencing music teaching and the applied use of art
• Reflection on one's pedagogical background thinking and the diverse practical applications developed from it
• Artistic activities related to one's professional profile in the professional skills of a music educator
• Learner- and participant-orientation in various pedagogical situations
• Guiding and analysing group processes
• Working in various working life collaboration situations, multidisciplinary work
• Planning and implementing teaching and guidance situations
• Individual and group reflection

Qualifications

The student
• can use and further develop their artistic-pedagogical skills in early childhood music education, basic instrumental and vocal teaching
• can instruct ensemble playing and singing for people of different ages
• is capable of utilising the possibilities of artistic expression to support the growth and development of the learner
• enables meaningful learning for the learner using diverse working methods, music styles, and teaching methods.
