Objective

The student
• can explain the significance of music, creativity, and the arts for the well-being of individuals and communities, as well as for societal development
• understands the importance of promoting cultural well-being and can describe its possibilities and impacts at a societal level
• can utilise theoretical knowledge and their experiences of the effects of creativity, artistic activities, and music on individuals and communities to develop their pedagogical thinking
• recognises the potential of art and creative activities to address societal phenomena and challenges and can apply their pedagogical skills to promote societal well-being
• is aware of the role of art and artistic activities in societal discussions
• can utilise their networks as a broadly skilled music educator and communicate in a professional manner
• can engage in constructive interaction in multidisciplinary and multiprofessional teams
• is aware of the global development of their field.

• understands the importance of promoting cultural well-being to support societal sustainability and can describe its possibilities and impacts from different perspectives with examples
• is able to utilise theoretical knowledge and their experiences of the effects of creativity, artistic activities, and music on individuals and communities to develop their pedagogical thinking
• can apply their pedagogical skills to promote societal well-being and recognise the potential of art and creative activities to address societal phenomena and challenges
• is aware of the role of art and artistic activities in societal discussions and can provide examples of how art participates in and influences societal dialogue
• can describe the global dimension of music pedagogy and promoting cultural well-being
• strives to utilise their networks and can communicate based on professional practices
• can engage in good interaction in multidisciplinary and multiprofessional teams and collaboration.
