Objective

The student
• understands the significance of creativity, culture, and art in human life as a support for inclusion and well-being
• can apply this knowledge in practice in various operational environments, corresponding to the goals of different age groups and communities
• can structure the factors influencing community and use their skills in group activities to support the experience of a community
• can make versatile use of creative activities and pedagogical skills outside the traditional teaching field, for example, in art and science education and various projects within art institutions and the social and health sectors
• can analyse the different phases of the creative process and evaluate the suitability of creative methods for various situations
• is capable of creative problem-solving in pedagogical situations, utilising art and music to promote learning and well-being
• can make versatile use of their artist-educator skills to support the learning and well-being of different communities
• can use and develop their musicianship and plan and implement projects that nurture creativity and expression in various communities.

Qualifications

The student
• can identify, describe with examples, and structure the opportunities that music, creativity, culture, and art offer in supporting the inclusion and well-being of individuals and communities
• can utilise and apply theoretical, practical, and experiential knowledge in the observation, planning, and implementation of creative activities
• used their pedagogical as well as creative, artistic, and musical skills to support the learning, inclusion, and well-being of learners/participants
• can design activities that respond to the diverse needs of participants/learners in various working life contexts and environments, promoting equality and social sustainability
• can use knowledge about the significance of self-expression and emotional work and can engage in good interaction in multidisciplinary working life collaboration, communicating based on professional practices
• can reflect on, develop, and actively maintain their skills as a professional in creative activities.

The student

• can apply this knowledge in practice in diverse work environments and adapt their activities to the needs and goals of different age groups and communities
• can distinguish the factors influencing community in creative activities and use this knowledge to support the experience of a community
• can create operational environments that promote community and inclusion
• can analyse the different phases of the creative process and evaluate the suitability of creative approaches and methods for various situations
• can justify their choices and adapt methods to the target group and goals
• can use and develop their musicianship to support the expression, creativity, and well-being of different communities
• understands the potential of promoting cultural well-being as an enabler of societal change and can use this understanding in their work.
