Objective
The student
• can use their developing musicianship in early childhood music education and in guiding group music-making for different age groups through playing and singing
• uses the possibilities of artistic expression and bodily interaction in practical teaching situations to support the learner's development, inclusion, and well-being
• can use diverse working methods, teaching techniques, and music styles to enable meaningful experiences and learning for participants
• is able to use their diverse musical skills as part of pedagogical activities in various professional situations and to support the development of their own musicianship as part of the continuous professional learning of a music educator
• can use their musical skills inspiringly, consciously, and purposefully in pedagogical processes and work in various ensembles and practical situations of musical interaction.
Content
• Group music-making, accompanying music sessions, Finnish zithers, ukuleles, rhythm and barred instruments
• Reflecting on the pedagogical background thinking of music teaching and the applied use of art, and the resulting new pedagogical practice applications
• Artistic activity in the professional skills of a music educator
• Learner-centredness, guiding group processes, planning and implementing teaching and guidance situations
• Individual and group reflection
Qualifications
The student
• can plan and implement creative group activities that consider the needs of learners in various environments
• can act appropriately in the creative activities they have planned, work flexibly in groups, and consider the needs of learners
• can implement creative music and art activities outside the traditional teaching field
• is able to use creativity, expression, musical invention, improvisation, and bodily interaction and recognise the effects of pedagogical choices in group activities and learning
• can analyse group processes and teaching situations at a deeper level beyond the visible.

• can use their diverse musical skills as part of pedagogical activities in various professional situations and support the development of their own musicianship as part of the continuous professional learning of a music educator
