The student
• understands the key principles related to groups: group dynamics, interaction, and creating a safe group environment
• understands the significance of group processes and roles in group activities
• recognises the impact of improvisation in learning and its importance in group teaching
• understands the demands of daily life for voice professionals and is familiar with the basic principles of vocal hygiene as a support for wellbeing.

• Voice use for voice professionals
Qualifications
The student has the skills for professional growth and skills development. The student knows the key principles of communication and interaction skills and understands their importance in the work of a teacher. The student understands the connection between music and learning in brain function and its significance in teaching.

• is able to explore and develop group dynamics, interaction and creating safety within group activities
• can identify and evaluate the importance of group processes and roles in group work
• recognises the impact of improvisation on learning and is able to take it into account in group facilitation situations
• understands the demands of everyday life as a voice practitioner and can apply the principles of vocal hygiene to promote wellbeing.
