Objective
The student
• can creatively use the methods of learner-centred pedagogy as an expert in one-to-one tuition of their instrument
• is able to guide learners in improvisation
• is capable of constructive interaction and purposeful teaching of music pedagogical content
• can plan and implement broader educational modules based on the learner's strengths
• can provide feedback on longer learning processes and use feedback as a method to activate and encourage the learner
• can analyse learning events at a deeper level beyond visible actions and deepen their pedagogical awareness as part of their professional development
• is familiar with the more challenging repertoire for their instrument
• has adopted continuous reflection as part of their professional development and can express this in writing.
Content
• Advanced content in instrument pedagogy; more advanced repertoire of one’s instrument
• Pedagogy of improvisation
• Reflection individually and in groups, observation of teaching and learning
• Teaching practice in one-to-one tuition
Qualifications
The student is able to plan logically progressing learning units and apply learner-centred and supportive working methods. They are able to select suitable repertoire for the learner and to give varied and motivating feedback. The student can reflect on and evaluate their own skills, actions and pedagogical learning process, both orally and in writing.

• can creatively use learner-centered pedagogical methods in one-to-one instrument teaching and guide the student in the basics of improvisation
• is familiar with the more advanced repertoire for their instrument and can plan and implement broader educational modules based on the strengths of the learner
• is able to give feedback on longer learning processes and use feedback as a method to activate and encourage the learner
• can reflect on and evaluate their own skills, actions, and pedagogical learning process, both verbally and in writing.
