Basics of Information Technology in MusicLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

The student becomes familiar with common music technology applications, such as MIDI, music notation programs, sequencers and other computer programs and equipment frequently used in music studies and music education. In addition, the student becomes familiar with the basics of photo and video editing and the most common picture and audio formats. Students who have completed the course are able to use computers and common music applications both in their studies and in their profession.
