Objective
The student
• understands the basics of printed fabric design and technique from a repeat pattern to an exposed chart and is able to implement their own design into a hand-printed fabric using various dyeing and printing techniques
• develops their own visual expression in the area of printed fabrics and is able to design and create visually interesting printed surfaces
• takes into account the purpose of the printed fabric and the principles of sustainable development
• is familiar with occupational safety regulations and can make a cost calculation for their work.
