Objective
Upon completion of the course, the students know the communicational requirements for the final thesis. The students are able to write a research plan, refer to used sources and master the writing process. They are familiar with argumentation, reasoning and reporting. Students are able to write the abstract in English.
Content
Basics of thesis reporting and oral presentations
-writing the text for the thesis
-ethical and critical use of sources, and proper referencing
-argumentation, reasoning
-basic principles of academic writing
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student knows the communicative requirements of the thesis process. The student is able to draw up a research plan, refer to the sources used, and knows the writing process. The student is able to argue and justify their choices and masters the reporting of the thesis. The student can write an abstract in English.
