The student
• understands the key principles of strategic design and the significance of business thinking in design
• applies methods for business development and growth mindset as part of the design process and product development
• identifies the opportunities and impacts of design in business and views design as an integral part of a company’s long-term goals and competitiveness
• utilises strategic design tools and approaches to develop businesses and services.

• Growth mindset and its importance in product development and service design
• Strategic design tools and their application in business development

The student
• participates in the course activities at a satisfactory level
• recognises the basic concepts of strategic design and business thinking and can apply them in a limited manner as part of the design process
• understands the basic principles of growth mindset.
