Objective

The student
• develops their expertise in a selected area of advanced user experience design and applies this knowledge within broader design processes
• makes professional, evidence-based design decisions to create user experiences that meet the needs of target groups
• is able to document and professionally present the impact and rationale behind their design solutions.

• Exploring a selected specialisation area
• Developing and applying advanced expertise
• Enhancing user experience from the perspective of the specialisation area
• Documenting the design process

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student
• participates in the course activities at a satisfactory level
• recognises the basic principles of the specialisation area and can apply some of them to improve user experience design
• can document their design solutions at a basic level.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student
• actively participates in the course work
• demonstrates proficiency in the core knowledge of their chosen specialisation area and can apply it systematically in user experience design
• effectively utilises expertise from their specialisation area to enhance user experience and professionally documents and justifies their work.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student
• demonstrates exceptional engagement in the course
• exhibits in-depth mastery of their chosen specialisation area and applies this expertise comprehensively in user experience design
• makes evidence-based design decisions to develop user experiences that meet the specific needs of target groups
• can document and justify their work convincingly and professionally.
