Objective
The student
• knows how to evaluate and analyse the factors affecting the user experience of a digital service and uses their knowledge in their own design work
• knows the methods of user-centred design and knows how to apply them in the design of digital service concepts, visual user interfaces and interactivity
• knows the workflow of planning digital services and knows how to choose suitable methods and work tools for the different stages of the planning process
• knows how to take different usage situations and terminal devices into account in their design work.

Management of the basics of user interface design and usability (e.g. approved completion of the Graphical User Interfaces and Web Publishing course).

The student
• knows how to describe the factors affecting the user experience of a digital service
• knows how to design a digital visual user interface taking into account the basic principles of usability and user experience
• knows how to use user-centred design methods to support design work.

The student
• can evaluate the factors that affect the user experience of a digital service
• can apply their usability and user experience knowledge in the design of a digital user interface
• knows how to use suitable user-centred design methods in the different work phases of the design process appropriately and implement the design process in a goal-oriented manner
• knows how to propose solutions to problems with the usability and user experience of user interfaces and to search for additional information to solve problems.

The student
• can evaluate the factors affecting the user experience of a digital service systematically and analytically
• knows how to apply their usability and user experience knowledge in the design of a digital user interface so that the end result is of a high standard
• knows how to make use of suitable user-centred design methods in the different work phases of the design process in a versatile and appropriate way and implements the design process in a goal-oriented manner
• is able to make insightful solution proposals for the problem areas of the usability and user experience of user interfaces
• can independently search for new information and apply it in their own design work.
