The student
• knows the principles of setting up a business in their field
• can assess the feasibility of their business idea
• knows the challenges of customer acquisition in their field
• knows the basics of financial management and the main tax practices in their field of activity
• understands the principles of accounting
• understands the link between sustainability and the visual communication design job description
• understands the key ethical design and sustainability issues related to the designer's job description and entrepreneurship.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student
• attends the course with approval and completes the assignments satisfactorily
• knows the principles of setting up a business in their field
• is able to formulate a business idea and a business plan satisfactorily
• has a satisfactory knowledge of the principles of financial management and key tax practices in their field
• understands the importance of accounting for business operations.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student
• attends the class and completes the assignments well
• knows the principles of setting up a business in their field
• is able to formulate a business idea and a business plan
• is familiar with customer acquisition in their field
• has a good knowledge of the basics of financial management of a business in their field of activity
• understands the importance of accounting for business operations.

• has an excellent knowledge of the principles of setting up a business in their field
• can formulate a business idea and a business plan with distinction
• has an excellent knowledge of customer acquisition in their field
