Objective

Students will learn about video post-production and the basics of film effects. They will be able to cut and execute the main post-production steps of image and sound. Students will be able to create simple film effects with credibility and understand their potential. Students will be able to produce video for different release and transfer formats.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student understands the audiovisual production process and the production methods and terminology related to film effects. They know the main stages of the audiovisual production workflow and planning process, and are able to carry out a small video production at a satisfactory level. They can produce publication formats of their projects for different uses.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to apply different video and film effects production methods in practice and knows the related terminology. He/she knows the main stages of the workflow and planning process of audiovisual production, as well as their objectives. They are able to carry out a small video production with film effects at a good level and are able to solve problems independently. They are familiar with the specificities of different publishing environments from a video production point of view.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to apply different video and film effects production methods in practice and has a command of the related terminology. They know the main stages of the audiovisual production workflow and design process and understand their objectives. They are able to carry out video production and are self-directed in finding ways to achieve a visually high quality result. They will be able to produce publication formats for different purposes from their projects and understand their specificities.
