Objective

The student gets acquainted with the ways and environments of interactive information graphics. The student recognizes various information contents, is able to choose an appropriate means for their visualization, and understands the possibilities that interactivity offers.

- opportunities for interactive information graphics
- different ways of implementing visualization of information and tools

Prerequisites

Visual user interface design, knowledge of pixel and vector graphics.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to implement interactive information graphics in different environments. One is able to convert given data into a visually comprehensible interactive form. The student masters the rules of graphic design, typography and interactive information visualization in one’s work.

The student is able to implement high-quality interactive information graphics for different environments. One’s able to retrieve and edit data in a visually comprehensible interactive format. The student is able to justify the solutions one has made. The student is able to apply the rules of graphic design, typography and interactive information visualization in one’s work.

The student is able to implement high-quality interactive information graphics in different environments. The student is able to search, combine and edit interesting data in a visually comprehensible and justified interactive form. The student is able to develop one’s skills in graphic design, typography and interactive information visualization in one’s work.
