The student
• knows the concepts of graphic design and typography and is aware of the special requirements of various graphic design products

• History of graphic design and typography
• Understanding the graphic design industry and the job description of a graphic designer
• Ideation and problem solving skills
• Use of desktop publishing software and pixel and vector graphics editors
• Publishing service management
• Basic concepts and rules of typography
• Stylistic and technical criteria for selecting a typeface
• Preparation for publishing
Qualifications
The student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
