Objective
The student
• is able to describe the 3-dimensional form and the space with values and colours using various drawing and painting materials and techniques
• is able to express their own creative images visually and later on is able to use creative visual thinking as a part of their professional designing process
• adopts continuous sketching as a part of perceiving, exploring and thinking.
Content
• Exercising knowledge, observation and visual skills with different tools and materials
• Exploring and evaluating one's own expression
• Deepening the grammar of the image through joint image analysis and visits to exhibitions
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student is able to describe three-dimensional shape and space with the help of values and colours, using various drawing and painting materials and techniques. The student is able to create and express their own images visually and later utilise creative pictorial thinking as part of the professional design process. The student masters continuous image making as part of observation, research, and thinking.

The student is able to describe three-dimensional shape and space with the help of values and colours, using various drawing and painting materials and techniques in a variety of ways. The student is able to create and express their own images visually and later utilise creative pictorial thinking as part of the professional design process.
