The student understands the role of digital design in social context. The student can evaluate their work in connection with social change and power relations. The student recognises their role in the society.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is aware of the impact of digital design in society. The student is familiar with the interaction between digital design and power structures. The student is able to articulate the role of the designer in society.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student understands the complex and contradictory relationship between digital design and social change. The student is able to evaluate the interaction between digital design and power structures from many perspectives and is able to broadly evaluate the role of a designer in society.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to independently reflect upon the complex relationship between social change and digital design. The student is able to critically assess the contradictions in the interaction between digital design and social power structures from various perspectives. The student is able to analyse the role of a designer in society in a realistic, critical and multifaceted way.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student is aware of the impact of digital design in society. The student is familiar with the interaction between digital design and power structures. The student is able to articulate the role of the designer in society.
