Objective

After completing the course, the student understands the unique characteristics of experience services and value creation. They are able to apply service design tools and identify the needs of target groups. The student can integrate digital and physical experiences. They are capable of producing, evaluating, and developing experiences.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student recognizes the key characteristics of experience services and the basic principles of value creation. They identify the stages and fundamental methods of service design. The student understands the needs of target groups and utilizes basic data collection methods. They recognize ways to integrate digital and physical experiences. The student can describe the fundamental stages of experience service production and evaluation.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to apply value creation principles in experience services based on experience theories. They can utilize service design tools and facilitate the service design process. The student is capable of analyzing target group needs and customer journeys in experience services. They can design experiences where digital and physical elements complement each other. The student is able to develop and evaluate experience services using service design and experience theories.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to assess and develop value creation in experience services based on experience theories. They can apply service design tools and facilitate the service design process. The student is capable of anticipating and analyzing changes in target group needs in the development of experience services. They can design experiences where digital and physical elements form a seamless and functional whole. The student systematically develops and evaluates experience services using service design and experience theories.
