Objective

Upon completing this course, the student will be able to understand their physical and social learning environment as well as the study and guidance practices of Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. They will be able to work effectively in a group, provide and receive constructive feedback, and navigate the structure of their curriculum to develop a personal study plan. The student will also be proficient in using the necessary information systems and office software required for their studies.

The student will be able to process information appropriately, recognize common cybersecurity threats, and develop awareness of workplace requirements related to cybersecurity. They will understand the principles of large language models, recognizing both their benefits and limitations. Additionally, they will be able to utilize AI responsibly and ethically in learning while ensuring accountability for their own work and adhering to good academic practices.

Furthermore, the student will be able to identify the key competencies and professional tasks of a cultural producer and demonstrate a basic understanding of project management.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student is familiar with Metropolia University of Applied Sciences as a learning environment and is able to plan their studies effectively. They can use the information systems and digital tools available at Metropolia. The student understands the importance of cybersecurity and data protection and knows how to utilize AI ethically. The student recognizes the key competencies, professional skills, and tasks of a cultural producer. They have a basic understanding of project management and teamwork and can use essential digital tools for project management. Additionally, the student is capable of working as a team member and can give and receive constructive feedback.
