Objective

The student knows the characteristics and possibilities of drama and scriptwriting. Students can plan the production process of scripted content, including scheduling, budgeting, resource management and production management. They know principles of financing and distribution in drama productions. They can develop and pitch their ideas. They know how to turn an idea into a script.
The student knows the basics of directing an actor's work. They know the role of directing in drama productions. They know how the principles of sustainable development are taken into account when designing production solutions.

Content

- drama scriptwriting and analysing the structure of a drama
- drama as a tool for social debate
- fundamentals of actors' work and directing in drama and script-based projects
- idea development and presentation

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student participates satisfactorily in class. Students recognise specific features of drama-based scriptwriting and know how to turn an idea into a script. The student is able to develop and pitch ideas satisfactorily. The student knows how to plan the different stages of the production process of scripted content. The student recognises principles of financing and distribution in drama productions. The student recognises principles of directing actors, and the role of directing in drama productions. The student is able on a basic level to take into account the principles of sustainable development when designing production solutions.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student participates well in class. The student knows specific features of drama-based scriptwriting and is able to work from an idea to a script. The student is able to develop and pitch ideas. They can plan the different stages of the production process of scripted content. They know principles of financing and distribution in drama productions. The student knows the basics of directing actors, and the role of directing in drama productions. The student is able to take into account the principles of sustainable development when designing production solutions.

The student's participation is excellent. The student has a good knowledge of the specific features of drama-based scriptwriting and is able to work independently from an idea to a script. The student can independently develop and pitch ideas. The student is able to plan the different stages of the production process of scripted content. They have a good understanding of the principles of financing and distribution in drama productions. The student has a good understanding of the principles of directing actors, and the role of directing in drama productions. The student is able to take into account the principles of sustainable development in a versatile way when designing production solutions.
