Objective

The student can plan and implement an audiovisual production process. They are acquainted with copyright and intellectual property rights, as well as contracting techniques, and are aware of legal and ethical standards. They know how to analyse and break down a script from a production point of view. The student is acquainted with practices of distribution of audiovisual productions. They know different roles in production and principles of team management. They know how to plan and schedule their own work. They know how to give and receive feedback. The student is able to integrate the principles of sustainable development into the different phases of audiovisual production.

Content

- copyright, intellectual property rights and contracts from the producer's perspective
- breakdown and analysis of the script from the point of view of the production process
- development of a production plan, including schedule and resources.
- establishing a budget and the basics of financial management in an audiovisual project.
- production assignments and management of the production team
- environmentally responsible practices and ethical production
- safety at work

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student participates satisfactorily in class. The student can plan and implement an audiovisual production process under supervision. The student is acquainted with copyright, intellectual property rights, contracting techniques and ethical standards. The student knows how to analyse and break down a script from a production point of view. The student knows different professional roles in a production. They know how to plan their own work. The student knows how to give and receive feedback satisfactorily. The student is able to identify principles of sustainable development related to different stages of audiovisual production.

The student participates well in class. The student is able to plan and implement an audiovisual production process. The student is familiar with copyright, intellectual property rights, contracting techniques, and ethical and legal standards. The student can analyse and break down a script from a production point of view. The student knows different professional roles in a production. They will be able to plan and schedule their own work. The student can give and receive feedback. They can independently integrate the principles of sustainable development into the different phases of audiovisual production.

The student's participation is excellent. The student can independently plan and implement an audiovisual production process. They have a good knowledge of copyright, intellectual property rights, contractual techniques and ethical and legal standards. Students will be able to fluently analyse and break down a script from a production point of view. The student will have a good knowledge of the different professional roles in a production. The student can independently plan and schedule their own work. The student is able to give and receive feedback. The student is able to integrate the principles of sustainable development into the different phases of audiovisual production in a goal-oriented way.
