- is able to analyse the reciprocal connection between oral health and general health
- is familiar with the drugs they are allowed to prescribe, and how to write out a prescription
- applies the laws, decrees and regulations governing limited right to prescribe drugs
- knows how to make a drug treatment plan for a surgery
- has a good understanding of drug treatment and is able to perform drug calculations
